Bengaluru, March 15, 2026: A sea of fitness enthusiasts, families and first-time participants gathered at KTPO, Whitefield, as cult hosted its prestigious cult Fitness Carnival, turning the venue into a celebration of community and movement. Designed as an inclusive, experience-led event, the carnival welcomed over 5,000 people of all age groups and fitness levels to explore movement in ways that felt social, accessible and fun.

Throughout the day, the venue came alive with a diverse mix of workshops, challenges, conversations and interactive experiences, creating a festival of fitness. Participants ranging from Gen Z to sexagenarians, moved between different activity zones, joined group sessions, explored brand-led experiences and engaged with the broader wellness ecosystem.

The highlight of the day was a series of celebrity-led workshops and group sessions. Attendees participated in a yoga session with Bollywood celebrity Malaika Arora , Mat Pilates with popular instructor Yasmin Karachiwala, a strength masterclass led by cult co-founder Rishabh Telang, and a high-energy dance fitness session with Shwetambari Shetty among others. Alongside these, the programme also included activities such as coffee mixology, art reset sessions and shadow yoga, reflecting the carnival’s focus on exploring different ways of moving and engaging with fitness.

“For me, fitness has always been about feeling good and enjoying the process. What I loved about the cult Fitness Carnival was seeing so many different people come together to move, try new things and just have fun with fitness. When you create spaces like this where people can explore and feel comfortable participating, it makes staying active feel much more enjoyable,” Malaika Arora said , reflecting on the energy at the event.

Sharing a similar sentiment on introducing people to different forms of movement, Yasmin Karachiwala said , “Movement should feel empowering and not intimidating. Pilates teaches people how to move with control, strength and awareness, and that is something anyone can begin at any stage of their fitness journey. Events like the cult Fitness Carnival are wonderful because they introduce people to different forms of movement and help them discover what works best for their body.”

Adding to the event was the cult UNBOUND Championship, which returned as a core competitive segment within the carnival. Known for testing strength, endurance and mental grit, the championship brought together experienced athletes and serious fitness enthusiasts who competed across functional workout formats designed to push their endurance. The competition added a high-performance edge to the event, while the larger carnival ensured there was something for everyone to participate in and enjoy.

Speaking about the broader idea behind the carnival, Rishabh said, “At cult we have always believed that fitness should feel approachable and engaging. The carnival brings that philosophy to life by giving people the chance to try different workouts, challenge themselves and experience the energy of a larger fitness community. When people discover that movement can be both challenging and enjoyable, it becomes much easier to make it a regular habit.”

Across the venue, interactive zones featuring brand activations, product sampling and hands-on experiences kept the energy high throughout the day. Panel discussions with leading voices from the fitness ecosystem also offered insights into evolving fitness habits, training philosophies and the growing culture of everyday movement in India.

Naresh Krishnaswamy, CEO, Curefit Healthcare Pvt Ltd , said, “The cult Fitness Carnival is about opening up fitness to many more people and showing that movement can take many forms. It was encouraging to see such a diverse group of participants come together, try new experiences and engage with fitness in a way that felt welcoming and enjoyable. Our aim is to build this into a platform that continues to grow and travel to more cities, encouraging more people to make movement a regular part of their lives.”

With its blend of competition, community participation and immersive experiences, the cult Fitness Carnival reflected the growing appetite for social, community-driven fitness events in India. For many attendees, it offered an opportunity to discover new ways to move, connect with like-minded individuals and celebrate the joy of being active together.
