AIMEP sounds election trumpet at Bangalore press club
Bangalore March 2, 2023 : The All India Mahila Empowerment Party (MEP) announces the name of its President for the Karnataka Chapter. It is very much likely that the name of Dr Abdul Rahaman (Executive Member of BJP Karnataka) and Dr Pushpalata (Leader of JDS) are going to be formally announced by its regional party incharge Ms Fareeda Begum at the press club in the presence of august gathering this afternoon.
On the occasion there will be an induction drive into MEP from BJP & JDS party dissidents, which will be an hallmark event followed by the commencement of mass membership drive into the MEP party fold by Dr Abdul Rahaman that will demonstrate MEPs political clout in the State with a mission of ‘Vibrant Karnataka’. This will also be a part of party slogan for the forthcoming elections.
Working General Secretary of the MEP Mr Muttu Surakonda will deliver the welcome address alongside National Working Vice President Fareeda Begum followed by induction of BJP and JDS Office bearers & members into the MEP fold, subsequently an address by the president of the Karnataka State chapter Dr Abdul Rahaman as the per party agenda.
In a broader outlook the party has decided to contest on 150 seats and ensure to field winnable women candidates. There will be a representation of 51% seat allocation for women candidates alone with a target to secure maximum seats with an eye to mark a Dalit as Chief Ministerial candidate on victory.
Party is likely to field candidates in three different phases and also list out a practical manifesto that is virtual reality as its eyes are set by its party supremo Dr Nowhera Shaik. It is very much likely that she will light the baton at all major rallies crisscrossing geographical boundaries across the districts spread out in Karnataka.
The event is attended by state working President Mohammad Iftekhar Shariff, Core Committee members Shri Mohammed Javed Ibrahim, Shri Arif MP, Shri Mohammed Waseem, Gulrez Pasha and State members Shri Imran and M S Noor Pasha and others.
