FKCCI welcomes ease of land allotment

Bengaluru 6th September 2022. Dr C A I S Prasad, President, FKCCI has welcomed the historic decision and major reforms of Govt of Karnataka under leadership of Honourable Chief Minister Sri Basavaraj Bommai and Honourable Minister for large & Medium industries Dr Murugesh R Nirani, Govt of Karnataka of bringing a major reform in land approval by KIADB. He also thanked Dr Murugesh R Nirani for this major decision which will improve the pace of investments in Karnataka State.
Hitherto, the industries seeking approval for land allotment were required to undergo screening in the Land Audit Committee and then seek approval by the State Level Single Window Agency or the State High Level Clearance Committee. Now the industries requiring land up to 10 Acres need not undergo screening by the Land Audit Committee. They can directly approach the State Level Single Window Agency or State High Level Clearance Committee.
Dr C A I S Prasad said, it would be a major step towards Ease of Doing Business in which Karnataka State has already been in the forefront in the country. This will help to attract more investments in Karnataka and also for creating additional employment generation. This would help Micro, Small and Medium enterprises in a big way. They need not wait for a long time for geeting approval for land. This step would specifically act as a booster for forthcoming “Global Investors Meet” to be held on 2nd, 3rd and 4th November 2022.
Dr C A I S Prasad, President, FKCCI also thanked Shri Basvaraj Bommai, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka for taking very pro-active step to boost the investors, especially in the MSME Sector. This will also help in building “Nava Karnataka for Nava Bharat” and making Karnataka a vibrant economy of $ 1.5 Trillion Economy” by 2025.
