Dr. Samina F Zamindar, an Ophthalmologist, Surgeon, Entrepreneur and Quality Enthusiast was recently awarded the WEFT Women Leader of the Year 2022.
Woman Entrepreneurs For Transformation (WEFT) Foundation – a not for profit organization formed to support and provide a networking platform for women, recently honoured women achievers from different walks of life in Bangalore. The event felicitated female entrepreneurs as a way to celebrate women’s empowerment.
Talking about the WEFT Women Leader of the Year award, Dr Samina Zamindar says, “I receive this recognition on behalf of our entire team who has worked hard during the pandemic to continue essential eyecare services safely”
Dr. Samina Zamindar, who started her private practice in 1997, now has a team of 35 dedicated Eye care professionals.
Dr Zamindar’s Micro Surgical eye centre has 3 centres for excellence in eye care in East Bangalore which offers all sub-specialties in eye care and are accredited with NABH, the highest mark of excellence in Healthcare. All along they have been a patient centric centre with the mission to serve patients with best in expertise, technology and compassion.
In 2021, Dr Samina Zamindar joined NSRCEL Goldman Sachs program and learnt management strategies and started a third centre with Covid safe facility in the same year.
