The dealership launch will enable Etrio to showcase its full range of EV 3W products
Mumbai, 03 December 2021: Etrio, one of the leading electric mobility companies in India, has now expanded their footprints into Maharashtra by establishing a dealership presence in partnership with Mumbai-based Vijay Security Systems Pvt. Ltd. Under this dealership, Etrio will be showcasing and selling their wide range of their electric vehicle models including Etrio’s electric 3-wheelers for the cargo and passenger segments through a newly-opened showroom in Andheri East (Mumbai) – which will cater to both B2B and B2C consumers.
Notably, Etrio’s dealer-partner philosophy has been developed around building a strong entrepreneur network pan-India to drive EV adoption in country through strong customer education, awareness and acquisition program. Etrio selects the right entrepreneurs/businesses to associate with, trains and equips them optimally and jointly works with them on building local demand and driving customer delight and growth. Etrio is the first and only EV OEM in India which has introduced a unique dealership and leasing model to scale rapidly across the country. The dealership in Maharashtra was recently finalized by Etrio to be able to cover 3 districts of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, Deepak MV, Founder & CEO, Etrio says, “We are delighted to announce our dealership in Mumbai, which will enable us to reach customers in 3 key districts of Maharashtra – Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. With this dealership, we at Etrio are going beyond our normal 3S dealership model (Sales, Service and Spares), by setting up Etrio hubs via introducing the ambit of charging infrastructure and driver training centres at the dealership centre itself. Therefore, essentially we are setting up a miniature EV ecosystem that will holistically aid the local EV adoption.”
“We at Etrio have always aimed at making a sustainable and formidable presence at the local levels, in a bid to create more awareness and bring potential customers into the EV fold. And in order to make this happen, we strongly believe that our dealer-partner in Maharashtra will be playing an important role in the near future. This is the beginning of setting up our Maharashtra EV ecosystem leadership, and we are excited to witness the future unfold along with the ongoing EV transition in the state and across the country at large,” adds Deepak MV.
Etrio’sdealer-partner in Maharashtra — Vijay Security Systems Pvt. Ltd. (VVSL) — is a part of Vijay Group of Companies headquartered in Mumbai. The Group is over 50 years old with diversified businesses including Fire & Safety Systems, especially vehicles, fire vehicles and electric vehicle charging infrastructure development. “VSSL is looking forward to its partnership with Etrio in the EV space and has growth plans to expand in other locations in Maharashtra as well,” said NishitSalot, Director, VVSL.
In the recent years, Etrio is fast expanding its footprint across the country, and is currently present in 5 states and will expand to 10 states and 20+ locations by FY ’22. The company is ready to launch a slew of high-performance 3-wheelers in the next two quarters and will also introduce new cargo 4 wheelers range starting with the 1T payload segment in the next few years. Etrio’s current portfolio has EV products across payload ranging from 350 kg to 700 kg including a 3-wheeler product range in both cargo and passenger segments under the brand name ‘Touro’ and a retrofitted (ICE to EV converted) e-LCV Tata Ace.
