11th EV EXPO 2021 dedicated to eco-friendly electric Vehicle technology is being organised from August 6 to 8, 2021 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Shri Nitin Gadkari,  Minister, Road Transport & Highways shall inaugurate the Expo.

New Delhi, August 4, 2021 –  India’s biggest  eco-friendly Electric Vehicle Technology Expo ‘11th EVEXPO 2021′ is set to begin from August 6, 2021, at Hall No. 3,  Pragati Maidan, New DelhiThe 3-day event shall showcase the latest and technologically advanced, pollution-free 2, 3 & 4 wheeled e-vehicles, parts and accessories, charging solutions and technology from more than 100 national and international companies.

The Expo shall be inaugurated by Sh. Nitin Gadkari,  Minister, Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Water Resources at 11 am on August 6 at Hall No. 3, Pragati Maidan. Sh. Kishan Pal Gurjar, Minister of State for Heavy Industries has consented to be guest of honour at the inauguration.

The Expo shall be preceded by a one day conference with the theme ‘Electric Vehicles-Issues Challenges & Opportunities’ from 10 a.m. onwards on 5th August, 2021 at Hall No. 7, Pragati Maidan. Sh. Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of India, shall grace the occasion with his presence at 11:00 am on 5th August 2021.

 

EV EXPO 2021 brings to the Electric Vehicle industry the opportunity to launch and showcase, see and understand the latest in electric vehicles, components, battery technology, accessories and Services for convenient and environment-friendly transportation of passengers and goods. The Expo ensures that the right national and international players exhibit their technology and products to the right audience, be it prospective owners & operators, manufacturers, traders and service providers in the E-Vehicle industry. The event offers comprehensive market information, great business opportunity and a platform for networking.

 

Mr. Rajiv Arora, Organizer, EV EXPO 2021 said “Just yesterday, Government has issued a notification exempting registration charges and renewal fee for battery-operated vehicles or electric vehicles to encourage electric mobility in the country. The need to maintain social distancing due to the ongoing pandemic has also lead to an increase in usage of personal vehicles and interest in e-vehicles is growing. Rising fuel prices have accelerated the interest in EVs as well. We are going to witness a number of new launches during the 3-day event and are quite confident of a successful event this year despite the limitations due to the pandemic. ”

  • Altius Auto solutions to launch an electric 2-wheeler with a good mileage per charge at an affordable price.
  • Supreme Smart Power Pvt Ltd.  to launch an extensive range for sustainable mobility solutions for commercial and passenger applications
  • Launch of many new 2 & 3 wheeled e-vehicles by various companies
  • Latest smart e-vehicle charging solutions and batteries shall be unveiled at the Expo.

Mr Anuj Sharma, Chairman E-rickshaw CommitteeMinistry of Road Transport and Highways, Govt. of India said We congratulate and thank the organisers of EV Expo who have been providing this ideal platform to showcase and promote the eco-friendly e-vehicles, technology and solutions in various parts of India. The Govt. believes  that the e-vehicle industry is going to be a big employment generator and it can provide jobs to millions in research, development, manufacturing, services and operations in this eco-friendly sector.  Governments notification for exemption of registration charges and renewal fee for electric vehicles and other support measures show the intent to incentivize the industry and encourage the shift to sustainable and non-polluting means of transport .”

EVEXPO 2021 is supported by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Govt. of India, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), and ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology).

Around 100 + Indian & International exhibitors are showcasing their technologically advanced, pollution-free 2,3,& 4 wheeled e-vehicles like E-Rickshaws, E-Carts, E-bikes, E-scooters, E-bicycles, E-Loaders as well as 4 wheeled vehicles at EV-EXPO 2021.  Latest Lithium-ion batteries, charging solutions, vehicle components and accessories are also going to be showcased at the Expo.
