Bengaluru, July 13, 2024 – GITAM Deemed-to-be-University held its 15th annual convocation ceremony today, honoring the achievements of 1218 graduating students at its Bengaluru campus. The event was graced by esteemed guests Mr. Sudhanshu Mani, visionary engineer of Vande Bharat Express, and Shri M Sribharat, President of GITAM University.
Top-performing students across technology, science, and management received gold medals, while renowned dancer and Padma Shri recipient Ms. Leela Samson, and water conservationist Mr. Anand Malligavad were awarded honorary doctorates.
University President Shri M Sribharat emphasized GITAM’s commitment to holistic student development, encouraging graduates to discover their passions and become catalysts for positive change. Mr. Sudhanshu Mani highlighted the importance of a global mindset and problem-solving skills in today’s interconnected world.
