His Excellency Governor Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot honored Bharat Ratna C N R Rao, Padma Vibhushan SM Krishna, Padma Vibhushan D Virendra Hegde, B Saroj Devi, Padma Shri Tulsi Gaur, MP with the “Champions of Change Karnataka” award at Radisson Blu Hotel, Bengaluru. 25 people from Karnataka honored including Tejashwi Surya, former cricketer Venkatesh Prasad, Upendra Rao, Khushboo Yadav, Prithvi Singh. He said that I have got the opportunity to honor these great personalities. He praised the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy and its President Advocate Nandan Jha and said that they are doing good work by honoring those doing good work in the society. I am very inspired by him. And he congratulated all the honorees and said that they will continue to do good work in the society.
Jury Chairman of the Champions of Change Award, former Chief Justice of India Justice KG Balakrishnan said that every possible effort should be made to encourage generosity in the society. He described the felicitation ceremony as an inspiration for good works in the society. Jury Advisor former Ambassador Dayakar Ratakonda gave information about the award selection process.Along with this, the ceremony was also honored by the honoree D Virendra Hegde and MP Tejasvi Surya.
