BANGALORE, October 5, 2023: American corporate Ocwen Financial Solutions Private Limited has been rendering humane touch in Bangalore among mentally challenged by offering free education through a Bangalore based NGO,‘The Association for the Mentally Challenged’. Ocwen’s corporate social responsibility initiative has made a difference in the lives of many, particularly among have not’s by encouraging them to be a part of societal circle. The initiative provides training to those among mentally challenged in promoting skills among them in the art of making of jute bags, mats and towels besides variety of food products like sweet, pepper and salt biscuits, flavored fruit jam to name a few.
Ocwen Social Responsibility has reached deserving institutions in developing need based infrastructure in special schools for the mentally and physically challenged over 30 years consistently. In order to oversee its monitoring its activities in Bangalore, the Ocwen delegation paid a planned visit to one such special school as a day care centre to have first hand information yesterday meant for mentally challenged in the city.
The delegation from Ocwen led by Chair President and CEO Glen Messina, Lead Independent Director Kevin Stein, Executive Vice President and CFO SeanO’Neil, Executive Vice President and CAO Dennis Zeleny and Ravi SP, Vijay RV and Yadhunath Srinivasmurthy among others visited the premises of the ‘Association for the Mentally Challenged behind Kiwdai Institute of Oncology on Hosur Road in Bangalore yesterday.
