Hyderabad, India – April 22, 2024. The Pragyaan Sustainable Health Outcomes Foundation (PRASHO), a Hyderabad-based non-profit organization, announces a three-day conference on Infection Prevention Control and Antimicrobial Stewardship (G-SPARC) to be held this October 3rd-5th. PRASHO is collaborating with the Infection Control Academy of India (IFCAI) and the University of Hyderabad (UOH) for this important event.

R. Govind Hari, Chairman of PRASHO and advisor on health to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, states: “We are excited to host the G-SPARC conference in Hyderabad. This event will bring together experts from across the developing world (Global South) to address critical challenges in infection prevention, healthcare-associated infections, and antibiotic resistance.”

Focus on Developing World Solutions

The conference will focus on developing best practices and solutions specifically designed to address the unique needs of developing countries. Experts from over 50 countries are expected to attend, representing healthcare professionals, government agencies, and NGOs working in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.
