Bengaluru, November 21st , 2022: International Lingayat Youth Forum (ILYF), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) and a not-for-profit public social trust, has planned a three-day Veerashaiva Lingayat Global Business Conclave-2023 between January 20 and 22, 2023 at Palace Grounds in Bengaluru.
Addressing media at a press conference here today, Mr. Naveen Kottige, Chairman, Veerashaiva Lingayat Global Business Conclave and the Member of Legislative Council, said, “The aim of this conclave is to bring all Veerashaiva Lingayat community business leaders / entrepreneurs / professionals under one platform and deliberate the way forward in furthering economic / industrial / business activity dovetailing the pragmatic & bold initiatives unleashed by Central & Karnataka Government”.
The highlights of the business conclave are as follows:
- Bring who’s who of Veerashaiva Lingayat industry stalwarts from across the globe under one roof and deliberate investment opportunities in Karnataka
- Promote the cluster-based approach envisaged by Karnataka Government amongst the industrialists / business / farming community
- To strengthen start-up cell at district level and mentor prospective entrepreneurs
- Explore technology-based farming solutions to enable the farming community across Karnataka to harness its full potential
- Showcase Karnataka potential across verticals by exhibiting products / services through 250+ stalls
- Highlight opportunities in education sector through a dedicated pavilion. Facilitate educational institutes to connect with students by providing career counselling
- Thoughtfully crafted vertical seminars to be addressed by Industry Veterans, Global Business Leaders / Entrepreneurs, Policy Makers & Bureaucrats., followed by group discussions
- Showcase the rich culture and heritage of Veerashaiva / Lingayat community
- Connect with Global audience through other Veerashaiva Lingayat associations across the globe
ILYF has collaborated with Veerashaiva International Association (VIA), Maharashtra and is supported by All India Veerashaiva Lingayat Mahasabha and Basava Samithi.
ILYF is modelled as an apolitical & not for religious activities organization. Its main objective is to foster entrepreneurship ethos, nurture socio-economic empowerment of youth and pursue social activities with a single-minded objective of nation building. Incidentally, ILYF incepted in 2013, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023.
An initiative of like-minded progressive young entrepreneurs, ILYF over the years, as part of its economic empowerment initiative has been offering vocational training, knowledge sharing resources, offering unique platform for youth to showcase their skill and mentoring nascent start-up’s.
