Bengaluru, December 10, 2023 – Kristu Jayanti College emerged victorious at the Ecofluence Research Championship, a path-breaking event hosted by Indus Business Academy (IBA) today. Ecofluence aims to demystify economics and make it accessible to the general public.
IBA, established in 2001, has earned recognition as a top business school in India with international accreditations. This championship exemplifies their commitment to fostering research and innovation in the field of economics.
With over 50 registrations, competition was fierce. After eight rounds of elimination, only 20 finalists remained. Kristu Jayanti College emerged victorious, winning a cash prize of Rs. 20,000. Wellingkar School placed second, receiving Rs. 15,000, followed by Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Economics (Rs. 10,000) and BITS Pilani, Goa Campus (Rs. 5,000). The total prize money for the championship amounted to Rs. 50,000.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Ravindra Brahme (Guest of Honour), Dr. R.S. Deshpande, Dr. S. Puttaswamaiah, Dr. Malini L. Tantri, Dr. Padmini Rao, Dr. B.S. Venkatesh, Dr. S. Vijayalakshmi, Prof. Nivedita Karunpalan, Dr. Susheela Subramanya, faculty members of IBA, students, and staff.
