Bengaluru (India), July 10, 2026: L&T Technology Services (LTTS), a global leader in Engineering Intelligence Solutions and ER&D Consulting, successfully concluded its Engineering Intelligence (EI) OpenHack 2026. This first-of-its-kind, 24-hour global innovation challenge took place simultaneously across nine locations in India, the U.S., and Europe, including Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Vadodara, Mumbai, Dallas, and Munich.

The hackathon brought together nearly 4,000 engineers across 770+ teams to tackle complex engineering hurdles using AI-led innovation. Participants addressed over 500 challenge statements aligned with LTTS’s core strategic growth priorities, such as Software Defined Mobility, Plant Buildout & Modernization, Next-Gen Compute & AI Infrastructure, MedTech, and Digital Manufacturing.

By blending deep domain expertise with cutting-edge technologies, teams created AI-powered solutions spanning industrial automation, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, and healthcare. These innovations aim to help global enterprises completely reimagine their operations, products, and decision-making processes.

An esteemed jury of senior LTTS executives and tech experts evaluated the entries based on innovation, technical excellence, scalability, and real-world relevance. Winning teams were awarded cash prizes totaling over INR 30 lakh. Additionally, standout concepts received support for further development through Project Equinox—an LTTS platform that scales promising solutions—while patent-worthy innovations were shortlisted for special intellectual property recognition.
