Bangalore, July 16 2024: MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software, today successfully concluded MATLAB EXPO 2024 in Bangalore. The conference showcased the latest technological and engineering advancements in the AI, automotive, and wireless communication industries. The event attracted more than 600 engineers, scientists, researchers, and educators who participated in keynote presentations, panel discussions, customer demo showcases, technology showcases led by MathWorks engineers, and a “Women in Technology” fireside chat focused on major technology trends and engineering innovations.
Program highlights include the keynote session led by Qualcomm Vice President-Engineering Dr. Dhananjay Gore “On the Path to 6G: Driving Advanced Wireless Technology Evolution,” highlighting advancements in 6G and how it has evolved over time. Renowned industry speakers, like Boeing’s Seema Chopra and Kavitha P.S. from Continental India Limited, and noted academicians, including Jyotsna Bapat from IIIT Bangalore, shared their insights on the future of engineering and science. Finally, Tom Erkkinen, Product Manager, Embedded Code Generation from MathWorks, discussed how the company is investing in Model-Based Design to provide essential capabilities for automating design tasks, defect detection, and scaling to increasingly complex digital systems.
MATLAB EXPO 2024 technical sessions allowed attendees to delve into specific topics, ranging from AI and electrification to software factories and wireless communications systems. Global companies like Qualcomm and startups like iMedrix and River Mobility presented their latest products and services in the exhibition area. Attendees also explored more than 20 demos by MathWorks engineers at the technology showcase, where they interacted with industry-specific applications of MATLAB® and Simulink®.
