Bengaluru 27th January 2024. Ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bengaluru Central is buzzing with the possibility of a new representative. Christian community leaders, led by Bengaluru Archbishop Peter Machado, met Chief Minister Siddaramiah today to advocate for Bortholom , a rising leader, as the Bengaluru Central Constituency’s candidate.
Bortholom, known for his dedication to service, represents a potential break from the past and embodies the hopes of Bengaluru Central’s diverse population. The Christian community sees him as a bridge between their aspirations and the political landscape.
Joining Archbishop Peter Machado in the meeting were bishops from other Christian denominations, along with prominent Congress figures like KJ George and Dinesh Gunudu Rao. Their united front underscores the seriousness of their request and Bortholom’s growing appeal.
With elections drawing closer, Bengaluru Central waits with anticipation to see if Bortholom will emerge as their champion in the upcoming Lok Sabha race.
