May 28th, 2021, Bengaluru. Cardiac Design Labs, Bangalore has developed a very simple, user friendly, wearable multi-parameter, telemetric patient monitoring device called Padma Vitals and has collaborated with Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research for validating and deploying this solution.
Mr. Anand Madanagopal,Founder and CEO of Cardiac Design Labs his team have designed this new remote monitoring system, which gives all the vitals such as ECG, Heart Rate, Respiration Rate, SpO2, Body temperature and BP without the cuff. Under the guidance of Dr.S. JayaPrakash, Electrophysiologist along with has provided valuable feedback for the product improvement. It is a versatile design to be used in hospitals or at home to monitor patients like an ICU remotely. It is installed in various Government and Private Hospitals across the country.
According to Director Dr.C.N Manjunath, the device has been installed in Covid Wards as well as in NON-Covid ICCU at our Institute. The Doctors and the Nurses will monitor the patients from the Central location and can monitor the patients remotely from their mobile phones. It will also generate the vitals trend report for the duration of monitoring.
The Technology and the Algorithm with AI/ML are developed by Cardiac Design Labs indigenously. The complete 5 vitals efficacy scientific study was done at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular sciences and Research to show the accuracy compared to current ICU Monitors.
Right now we have installed this device to monitor both the Covid patients and NON-Covid patients and their vital parameters can be monitored on doctors mobile phones whether they are in the hospital or even from home which helps in decision making and treatment protocols.
