Mumbai, 13th April 2022: Pi Green Innovations, one of the emerging cleantech companies has won the title of Fit for Purpose track, during the India Clean Air Challenge (ICAC). This was the inaugural edition of ICAC and the ceremony was held at India Habitat Center, Delhi on 08th April 2022. Mr. Kunal Kumar, Joint Secretary, MoHUA graced the ceremony and felicitated the “Fit for Purpose Track” award to Pi Green Innovations. Pi Green Innovations was awarded for their excellent product range and solutions like Carbon Cutter – the filterless technology, Repair – the no filter, pure technology, jaggery processing units etc. The company’s services were appreciated and opens the doors to demonstrate these innovations with the relevant Government bodies.
The performance of all the participants was analyzed based on parameters such as scalability, technology used, innovation etc. The award categories introduced during the event were Pollution Monitoring and Management, Agriculture, Waste Management, Building and Construction, Mobility and Transport, Industrial Decarbonization. Out of 75 companies who presented their technologies, 8 were shortlisted as winners under different categories. Pi Green Innovations was awarded under the late stage winners segment.
