Bengaluru, India – March 6, 2024 – Prakramika Vocational Institute (PVI), in partnership with Emplusive Training Center and Muditha Kreative Skool, proudly held its second convocation ceremony at Seshadripuram First Grade College, Bengaluru, marking a significant achievement in vocational training and empowerment for neurodivergent individuals.
The ceremony honored PVI’s “Professionals” (students), who donned traditional convocation gowns and received certificates of completion, shields, trophies, and medals from distinguished guests. The event highlighted the power of inclusive education and the remarkable potential of neurodivergent individuals.
Esteemed guests included Chief Guest, Dr. Sanjeeb Patjoshi, IPS, DGP Kerala, and Guest of Honour, Dr. Wooday P. Krishna, a renowned leader in education and social service. Their inspiring addresses emphasized the critical importance of skill development and fostering an inclusive society.
The convocation celebrated the successful completion of skill-based learning programs by PVI’s Professionals, while also recognizing the dedication of faculty, sponsors, board members, and supporters who have contributed to PVI’s mission.
A key highlight was the unveiling of the book cover for “Beyond Labels – An Academic Guide for Special Educators,” a comprehensive 1200+ page resource co-authored by experts, educators, and parents. This publication underscores PVI’s commitment to sharing knowledge and promoting structured learning for neurodivergent individuals.
The event featured captivating performances by the Professionals, including music, dance, and a magic show, showcasing their diverse talents. Samagratha, an inclusive musical initiative, further demonstrated the power of inclusion in the performing arts. Importantly, all certificates, mementos, shawls, and gifts were handcrafted by neurodivergent individuals, and the entire event was anchored by them.
