DCP Anita Haddannavar inaugurated the new auto kiosk
The new initiative aims to provide a convenient and efficient transportation option for the customers, while also promoting safety and transparency in the auto-rickshaw service
Bengaluru: To ensure hassle-free shopping, LuLu opened a pre-fixed auto counter at LuLu Mall, Rajajinagar, on Friday in association with the city traffic police. Anita Haddannavar, DCP, Traffic West Division, inaugurated the new counter at the mall in the presence of Ramesh GR, ACP Vijayanagar, Santhosh Kumar, Inspector Magadi Road Traffic Police Station, and other dignitaries.
The new initiative provides better connectivity for customers without any hassle. Customers can easily catch autos from these kiosks at pre-fixed rates. It ensures services to 520 points, including Neelasandra, Adugodi, Airport HAL, Whitefield, Marathahalli, Konnankunte, KR Puram, Baiyappanahalli, Electronics City, Hebbal, Chickpet, Austin Town, and more. Also, passengers have to pay the government-stipulated fares, and the rates are displayed outside on the fare booths.
Passengers have to state their destination at the counter and collect the travel slip that will contain the auto driver’s name, phone number, auto-rickshaw registration number, destination address, and the fare to be paid at the end of the journey. Passengers will also have to pay a service charge of Rs. 2 at the counter.
Pre-booking counters will mark an important step in the graded restoration of LuLu’s customer service and make the task of auto-booking easy for all prospective travelers, including customers from different parts of Bengaluru. Service will be active during the mall’s working hours and will extend to more locations shortly.
