Bengaluru, Karnataka—Regen OrthoSport, a leader in regenerative orthopedic medicine, has opened its newest facility in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. This marks the company’s third advanced center in India, following successful launches in Hyderabad (2015) and Mumbai (2017). The new facility is set to address the rising rates of joint disorders and sports injuries in Karnataka by offering cutting-edge, non-surgical treatments.
The new Bengaluru center is the first in India to offer advanced intraosseous cell therapy, a ground breaking, non-surgical intervention designed to treat arthritis in its advanced stages. Unlike traditional treatments that focus on pain management or joint replacement surgery, this innovative therapy targets and repairs bone damage—the underlying cause of arthritis.
This launch comes at a critical time for musculoskeletal health in the region. Recent studies show that over 80% of people above 50 in Karnataka suffer from knee osteoarthritis, a condition that disproportionately affects women. With joint pain and stiffness on the rise, particularly during colder months, the demand for effective treatments is growing.
Dr. Venkatesh Movva, founder of Regen OrthoSport and a pioneer in regenerative orthopedics, emphasized the importance of this new approach. “We’ve always strived to bring innovative and less invasive solutions that harness the body’s own healing potential rather than relying on traditional surgery,” said Dr. Movva. “With intraosseous cell therapy, we’re addressing arthritis at its source. Patients can recover function and reduce pain safely, effectively, and with minimal disruption to their lives.”
The Bengaluru center will be led by Dr. Vitha Kulkarni, the in-house orthopedic specialist. Dr. Movva will also serve as a visiting doctor, providing comprehensive support and expertise.
The facility operates on an appointment-only basis. For appointments or media inquiries, please contact Regen OrthoSport at 063661 51736.
