On July 27, 2023, the TCIS student council hosted a meeting with delegates from Greenwood High School to discuss potential collaborations between the two schools. The meeting was attended by students from both schools, as well as representatives from the TCIS administration.
The meeting began with a brief introduction from the TCIS student council president highlighting the importance of collaboration between schools and how it can benefit students in both schools and then invited the Greenwood High delegates to share their ideas about potential collaborations.
The Greenwood High delegates proposed a number of ideas, including:
Jointly hosting events and festivals
Participating in competitions together
Working together on projects
The TCIS student council was enthusiastic about these ideas and agreed to explore them further. They also asked the Greenwood High delegates to share information about the different events that their school had hosted in the past. The Greenwood High delegates were happy to share this information and the two groups discussed the possibility of collaborating on future events.
The meeting ended with a positive feeling of goodwill between the two schools. The TCIS student council and the Greenwood High delegates agreed to stay in touch and continue to explore potential collaborations.
This collaboration is a great example of how schools can work together to provide their students with more opportunities. It is also a testament to the leadership and vision of the TCIS student council. The student council is excited to see what the two schools can accomplish together in the future.
