The Day 3 of Akshayakalpa Organic Karnataka State Chess Championship 2023 witnessed Grandmaster Thejkumar taking on the game of chess going blindfold. He played three games simultaneously, wearing an actual blindfold and taking 45 minutes to win the game. The Grandmaster won against three abled players, Monisha Ramchand, C B Thaman and Soukhya.
The tournament, organized by Bengaluru Urban District Chess Association (BUDCA) and Akshayakalpa Organic was inaugurated on Friday, 26th May 2023 at Forum Mall, Kanakapura Road and witnessed a number of interesting games where the players were competing with all their wits to win the most awaited coveted title.
