Bangalore, May 24, 2024: Students from the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI) aced the IndiaSkills Competition 2024, showcasing exceptional skills and bringing honor to the institute and the nation.
- Prem V bagged a gold medal in Additive Manufacturing.
- The Manufacturing Team Challenge team of Mohit M U, Harish R, and Nelson V secured gold medals.
- The Mechatronics team of Darshan Gowda C S and Bhanu Prasad S M also achieved gold, while Hemanth K Y and Uday Kumar B garnered silver.
- Rohan A S received a silver medal in Car Painting and Sudeep S M received Medallion of Excellence.
The competition, held every two years by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), is a platform for young talents to showcase their abilities. TTTI collaborated with NSDC to support skill development and hosted four categories of the competition.
NSDC’s General Manager of Marketing and Communications, Ms. Monika Nanda, congratulated the TTTI students and highlighted their accomplishment as a testament to the institute’s training programs.
Mr. G. Shankara, Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, expressed pride in the students’ achievements and thanked the trainers for their contribution. He further emphasized TTTI’s commitment to transforming rural youth into world-class technicians and their upcoming participation in the WorldSkills Competition 2024 in Lyon, France.
The WorldSkills Competition is a global platform for showcasing skills excellence. TTTI, since its inception in 2007, has been dedicated to providing advanced technical education and fostering the development of rural youth. Their recent initiative, “Toyota Kaushalya,” promotes admissions for female students and offers unique skilling opportunities in the manufacturing industry.
