Bangalore, January 18, 2022: VLS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Bangalore proudly celebrated the “MANTHAN 2023” 15th Annual Day Celebration. A Spectacular Extravaganza for grades 1st to 10th included a series of thematic performances ranging from devotion to family values, patriotism, unity in diversity, parental love, social issues and many more.
A galaxy of dignitaries graced the occasion as Guest of honour Smt.T.V.Venkatalakshmi Shivanna, Esteemed Founder & President, VLS International School, Chief Guests Mr. K.Gopalaiah, Minister of Excise, Govt of Karnataka, Dr. Ali Khwaja- Founder & Head of Banjara Academy & Mrs. Devika Nagaraju, Academic Director & Principal, VLS International School.
Illustrations culled from tribal, retro to metro, cultural heritage depicting different festivals of India, Karnataka culture, folk arts, women empowerment and schools journey. Folk, classic, disco, rhythmic yoga and emotional dance forms of India have been employed as the grammar of communication. The show involved most of the students of the school in a spectacular performance enriched with rich music, costume and dance.
The Annual report of the session was also released and read by Mrs. Devika Nagaraju. Academic Director & Principal, VLS International School honoring and appreciating the achievers with accolades, Annual Prize Distribution Function for session 2022-23 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Speaking about the “MANTHAN 2023” 15th Annual Day Celebration, Mrs. Devika Nagaraju, Academic Director & Principal, VLS International School said “Today’s children are the future of our state as well as our country. Brilliant faces that I am witnessing today, receiving awards and exhibiting their talents will grow up and definitely will be the citizens of our beloved nation tomorrow. They may grow up to achieve great success, name, and fame as well as high human values. But on the other hand, we wish them to be good human beings also and make this world a better place to live in”.
The academic and endowment awards were given away by the Special Guests to all the top achievers of the previous years, various sports awards such as chairman’s trophy, championship trophy and Quiz.
Overall, the celebrations concluded on a happy note encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success.
