Bengaluru: The Karnataka unit of the Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) has expressed severe outrage, condemning the arrest of the VIP national founder and former Bihar minister Mukesh Sahni, and the encounter of Kamlesh Bind in Uttar Pradesh. Speaking at a press conference organized at the city’s Press Club, VIP State President Mohan Kumar B.K. launched a scathing attack against the hooliganism of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh and the failure of the judicial system.
Allegations of Goonda Raj in Uttar Pradesh
Democracy is being murdered in Uttar Pradesh, and our national leader has been illegally arrested right in the middle of the street. Not only was Kamlesh Bind killed in an encounter, but the police did not even allow his family members to see his body. If anyone has committed a mistake, they should be produced before the court. But there, bypassing the courts, a dictatorship of shooting and killing through the police is going on. Such threats are being issued to common citizens if they question the BJP, and Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are directly responsible for this, he alleged.
Minister Sanjay Nishad, who belongs to our own community, has fallen for the greed of power and become a puppet of the BJP government. He demanded that Sanjay Nishad, who remains silent despite such atrocities happening against the community, should immediately resign from his post and step down. When Narendra Modi visited Karnataka in the past, he made big promises to the Koli and Nishad communities. But even today, those promises have not been fulfilled. Instead, attempts are being made to target and suppress our own people, he lashed out.
A Fitting Lesson in the Upcoming Elections
Across the country, there are about 23 crore voters belonging to our 39 sub-sects, including Nishads and Kolis. A conspiracy is underway to divide our community by classifying us into different categories in various states. If we stand united, no government will be able to arrest us. If the atrocities against us are not stopped immediately, our community will teach the BJP government a fitting lesson in the upcoming elections. He issued a direct warning to the government that massive protests will be organized against Narendra Modi and Yogi Adityanath in the coming days.
