Bengaluru 28th August 2023. It’s the mother of all painting events. Not just in India, but in the world. Colorothon 15: You can say it’s a big draw. Yes, come and draw your imagination on anything you wish, right before the public, for the world to see.
You can draw, doodle, caricature and also do a lot more. Maybe try your hand at the Drum Circle with an Indo African Band. Shake a leg with dance pros, or be a part of a Flash Mob, and mix and mingle with India’s Got Talent artists and meet fascinating musician Suraj Mani.
And by the way, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you played a part in a world record event: Akshayakapla Organic Colorothon 15 is a play at getting into the world records show for the most people painting under a single roof. Also witness 30 renowned artist painting live for a cause and get inspired.
Colorothon Season 15 is a joint initiative of Breathe Entertainment and Kids Chaupal, and will be held at St. John’s Auditorium, (Open Amphitheater), Koramangala, Bengaluru on September 3, Sunday, from 8 am to 3 pm, and is open to all ages from 3 years to 90 years.
Till now, Colorothon painting festival has seen participation of over 1 lakh sixty five thousand people across the country including in cities like New Delhi, Lucknow, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Guwahati and Bengaluru.Participants can come along with their families for what is the largest open air drawing and painting session, to express their creativity on paper.

In 2014, the visionary Kishore Joseph, the founder, and director of Breathe Entertainment, brought Colorothon to life, drawing inspiration from the heart-warming end scene of the iconic movie “Taare Zameen Par.” Just like the film touched hearts with its celebration of art and individuality, Colorothon aims to create a platform where artists can showcase their talents and find their own unique voices.

Draw to donate
According to the organisers, the top three hundred paintings will be donated to Colorothon’s charity partner Fund a Child in India. Also, the top 300 hundred paintings from Children’s category will be available for purchase on shop.kidschaupal.com to enable the young talents to become entrepreneurs said Dhiraj Singh, Co- Founder, as KidsChaupal focuses on providing a next-gen platform for the youth to help realise their potential by honing their skills.

- Age Group: 3 to 90.
- Every participant will receive a certificate which is recognised by Exclusive World Records & Kings Book of Records.
- 15 best paintings from five age groups will be rewarded with a Memento.
- Participants need to carry their colour tools.
- A3 drawing sheets will be provided by the organizers.
- 300 best paintings from the event collection will be chosen for an auction. The amount will be given to charity partner Fund a Child in India.
