Bringing Smiles to Bangalore

Bringing Smiles to Bangalore - thisweekindia

Bangalore, April 18, 2023: Over the last 9 years, We Little has been synonymous with painless paediatric dentistry and infusing smiles into kids and their parents’ lives. The brainchild of Dr. Shifa, The clinic is India’s first preventive paediatric dentistry clinic and has been seeding smiles since 2012 in Coimbatore. They have now opened their brand-new dental facility in the buzzing capital city at Indira Nagar, Bangalore

We Little located at Indiranagar has been inaugurated by Sania Mirza, Indian Tennis Player, India’s Pride & Mom,  GUNJAN KRISHNA, IASCommissioner for Industrial Development and  Director of Industries & Commerce, Government of Karnataka and Dr Shifa, Preventive Paediatric Dentist &  Winner of International Gold Award for super speciality in dental sleep.

Going to the dentist can be a harrowing experience for both kids and their parents. The sterile and clinical environment causes undue fear in kids and makes them suffer unnecessarily. To change this scary scenario, the 4000 sq. ft. interiors are themed to give an over the-cloud experience and euphoria. The clinic has an aeroplane simulator to add wings to this experience. And a plush pastel play area, making it fun and adventurous for kids. The friendly doctors and ever-smiling support staff build confidence and help kids address their dental issues positively.

We Little are a state-of-the-art dental facility with advanced equipment for dental care. They practice painless dentistry by offering sleep dentistry to solve issues such as cavities, broken or loose teeth, and other problems that affect a child’s oral health. The associated pain and discomfort during the oral procedure will be managed by the trained dentists. They have developed special protocols like Myofunctional Therapy, which involves breath and muscle retraining to fix crooked teeth, which were earlier thought of as a genetic issue.

For the last few years, Dr. Shifa has been advocating dental best practices for kids and blogging about the link between oral health, sleep problems, and brain development. She has developed many medical protocols related to dental care and is the chief proponent of preventive paediatric dentistry. According to Dr. Shifa, “many dental problems are manifested as myofunctional disorders like teeth misalignment, tongue thrust, facial grimace, and speech and sleep-related issues. They can be fixed with proper dental hygiene, oral restrictions, myofunctional habits, and dietary modifications.”

Little is big!! With our initiate big hearts foundation, WE is making little steps in brining big changes in the smiles of less privileged children to gain access to the holistic health care.

Our foundations aim at a collaborative approach with like-minded communities or foundations to identify children and families with need of holistic oral healthcare and help them get the access to the exclusive state of the art services accessible to them.

Sania Mirza has shared her personal  experiences. She added that services of we little are for parents looking for good oral hygiene in the future for kids.
