Bengaluru, May 3, 2024 – Actor Manoj Bajpayee has joined hands with Nand Ghar, a social impact project aimed at transforming the lives of 7 crore children and 2 crore women across India. The initiative, which aims to revamp 14 lakh anganwadis, launched the #KhanaKhayaKya movement, focusing on providing quality nutrition to every child.
Welcoming Bajpayee to the cause, Mr. Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta and supporter of Nand Ghar, expressed delight at the actor’s involvement. He emphasized the project’s mission to nurture and uplift the future generations of India.
During the campaign launch, Bajpayee shared his personal journey as a struggling theatre actor and highlighted the importance of nutritious meals in pursuing dreams. He urged people to support Nand Ghar through donations, volunteering, or partnerships.

Nand Ghar, the flagship project of Anil Agarwal Foundation, has made significant strides in reducing malnutrition levels and increasing preschoolers’ attendance across 14 states in India. The initiative’s efforts include distributing multi-millet nutri bars to 50,000 children daily, enriching their nutrient intake and reducing absenteeism.
