BENGALURU, August 11, 2026 — Over 1,100 students from PW Vidyapeeth centres and partner schools across Bengaluru recently gathered at Cubbon Park to participate in the ‘India Is Ready Marathon 2026’. Covering a 4.2 km route, the event was organized by PW Vidyapeeth, the tech-enabled offline coaching arm of PhysicsWallah (PW). The marathon was designed to promote physical fitness, well-being, and academic enthusiasm among students while driving awareness for the upcoming PhysicsWallah National Scholarship cum Admission Test (PWNSAT) 2026.
The morning event kicked off at 7:00 AM with student registrations and energetic, expert-led warm-up sessions. It was officially flagged off following a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Pushpinder Kaur Sidhu, Regional Head at PW, and Aman Kumar, Deputy Regional Head at PW. Top finishers in the run were honored with trophies and medals, while every participant received an official certificate recognizing their effort and determination.
Beyond encouraging health and discipline, the marathon served as a key community engagement initiative ahead of PWNSAT 2026, PhysicsWallah’s flagship national scholarship test for aspiring JEE and NEET candidates. Through PWNSAT 2026, high-performing students can secure up to 100% tuition fee waivers and compete for a share of a cash reward pool worth up to ₹2.5 crore. Additionally, the top 500 eligible rankers will receive full financial support covering free education and hostel accommodations. Registrations for PWNSAT 2026 are entirely free and open to students from Class V through Class XII, including Class XII pass-out batches.
Speaking on the vision behind the initiative, Alakh Pandey, Educator, Founder, and CEO of PhysicsWallah, emphasized the importance of equal opportunity:
“Access to quality education should not be determined by a student’s financial circumstances. Through PWNSAT, we aim to support learners by reducing these barriers while providing guidance that helps them continue their preparation with confidence.”
To maximize reach and accessibility for students nationwide, PWNSAT 2026 will be conducted in both online and offline formats. The online examinations will run continuously from October 1 to October 15, 2026. The offline tests will take place across four designated dates—October 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2026—at PW Vidyapeeth, Pathshala, and Tuition centres across the country.
