150 Clinicians Launch Magnet Hospitals in Bengaluru - thisweekindia

BENGALURU, July 1, 2026 – On the occasion of Doctor’s Day, Magnet Hospitals officially announced the launch of a pioneering, doctor-led hospital network across Bengaluru. Founded by distinguished healthcare executive Mr. Dinesh Madhavan alongside a group of health entrepreneurs, the network introduces a unique model where doctors and nurses act as both care providers and co-owners.

Magnet Hospitals aims to redefine the medical landscape by establishing a 1,200-bed platform within the next 24 months, focusing deeply on transparency, trust, compassion, and superior clinical outcomes.

Present Footprint and Expansion Plans

The network is kicking off operations simultaneously across eight existing hospitals in key Bengaluru neighborhoods: Langford Town, Electronic City, Jayanagar, Arakere, Jigani, Jalahalli, Mahalakshmi Layout and Nagarbhavi.

To fuel its rapid growth, Magnet Hospitals has already planned two upcoming greenfield projects in Kalyannagar and Varthur. Over the next two years, the network intends to recruit more than 200 clinicians, expanding its reach to 12 locations.

Magnet Hospitals distinguishes itself as the first network in India to offer clinical equity in the holding company to its clinicians and nurses.

“Healthcare has always been built on trust, but today, patients often feel disconnected from their care,” said Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, Managing Director of Magnet Hospitals. “Our co-ownership structure ensures every clinical decision is driven strictly by patient well-being. By leveraging Made-in-India technologies and medicines, we will significantly reduce healthcare costs while maintaining uncompromising standards of clinical excellence.”

The launch event was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Ashwini Puneet Rajkumar, who highlighted the network’s commitment to equitable care. Through the newly established Magnet Foundation, the network will dedicate 15 charitable beds across its Bengaluru facilities to support economically weaker sections of society.

Furthermore, the network is investing heavily in modernizing care delivery. By partnering with leading medical technology firms and integrating an advanced Agentic AI platform, Magnet Hospitals is set to optimize operational efficiency and elevate the overall patient experience.
